Kinesiotaping

Special Techniques

Special techniques in physiotherapy are used to address specific health issues. They help improve mobility, reduce pain and accelerate recovery while being tailored to the needs of each patient. In our practice, we offer a variety of methods such as medical flossing, dry needling, kinesio taping, cupping, IASTM and DNS exercises to provide you with comprehensive and effective care.

Medical Flossing

This technique uses elastic bands for muscle and joint compression, improving circulation and reducing pain. It is often used to speed up recovery following injuries.

Dry Needling

Utilizes thin needles to target muscle trigger points, reducing pain and tension while enhancing muscle function. It is commonly applied for chronic pain and muscle dysfunctions.

Kinesiotaping

Involves the use of elastic tapes that support muscles and joints without restricting movement. This method helps reduce pain and swelling while improving functionality.

Cupping

A technique that uses cups to create a vacuum on the skin, improving circulation, reducing muscle tension and promoting detoxification. It is often used to alleviate pain and stiffness.

IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization)

Employs specialized tools to mobilize soft tissues, reduce scars and adhesions, also to improve mobility and function.

DNS Exercises (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization)

Focused on restoring optimal movement function through the activation of stabilizing abdominal muscles. These exercises are frequently used for the prevention and treatment of diastasis, spine issues like protrusions, extrusions, or herniated discs, common sciatica or painful spine syndromes.
